Maasai Mara Programs
Stay on land next to an animal reserve with comfortable shared rooms separate from the dining area. You will be hosted by one of the most respected and beloved members of the community, Mrs. Mara Mercy. Witness the wildlife (giraffes, elephants, zebras) on your drive in and on the hills behind the property. The sunburnt African sunsets over the Mara are something not to be missed. Spend the evening around the campfire under the Milky Way. Delicious and fresh meals are prepared on site with vegetarian options available. There are camp style showers and manual flushing toilets. This is an enclosed and protected property.
Chavakali Programs
Chavakali is a small town about 45 minutes outside Kisumu. It is the third largest city in Kenya and home to the beautiful lake Kisumu. This is a vibrant culture with singing and dancing at every opportunity. The school and residence are together at the Merrow Christian School, so you will be right in the heart of the program and interacting with the children and staff all day and evening if you like. The accommodations are modern and comfortable. It is warm during the day and rains most afternoons/evenings.
Gatanga Programs
In Gatanga, just 1.5 hours outside Nairobi, we have several programs you can choose from. In this lush and active community, we strive to be able to help in all areas possible. You will be hosted by Emmah Mburu in a modern dorm facility with all you need for a comfortable stay. We can help you choose a program or you can spend some time in multiple programs to get a very full experience.
